'Changing Winds & A Nest (Tapestry of Nature / Endangered)'
One of my studios is on a windy mountain overlooking the city. Potted trees blow over but a small Robin’s nest has lasted through two winters. Mother Nature’s power is greater than humanity and we must learn to work with her. Complementary colors are often put side by side because opposite colors are stronger when next to one another than similar, analogous colors. Color is a metaphor for humanity in all of these works.
